French - We spent the morning reviewing materials covered prior to November and re-establishing our routine and classroom expectations. I also began reading with students individually. This should span the remainder of the week. Once complete, students will receive new books to read at home. PLEASE ensure that reading bags and books are returned to school daily.
We paused this afternoon to watch GG's Remembrance Day slideshow. The Gretna Green family certainly has many veterans who served.
Math - We will be reviewing all materials covered to date (representing numbers pictorially, concretely,in a table along with comparing and ordering numbers). Will will have a quiz next Monday.
The following are a few reminders for the week:
- Tuesday SNAP
- Thursday library
- Friday - PL Day for teachers. No school for students.
As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions and/or concerns. Cheers :)

Welcome back :) Please continue with online resource sheet activities this week. I have attached 10 words of the week for students to practice however they may choose i.e. on looseleaf with crayons, with Play-Doh, etc. Feel free to write a sentence or two with your words...as Bob Ross would say "there are no accidents, only happy mistakes" :) I have also posted 2 extra curricular math challenges for those interested. Again, please reach out if you require assistance. I will gladly help out.
P.S. Mr.Comeau will be posting our annual Remembrance Day slideshow on our school's website this week. Please stay tuned for that.

I suggest 20 minutes of reading from Bookili, 20 minutes math from Zorbit, and 20 minutes French either from BOOM Learning and/or Flora. Feel free to utilize the other resources and/or math links posted on my teacher page as well to supplement. Please reach out to me via e-mail and provide a number to contact you if you have any questions. Thank you.
