The students got a chance to work with clay last week.  They were learning about how real clay is used to make many different items that we use everyday.  They did a great job with their own creations!  Check out the image gallery below!

The students conducted an experiment last week to see how water affects different types of soil.  It was a little messy, but they learned which soil holds water the best.  Check out the pictures in the image gallery down below to the right!

The students created soil heads using pantyhose, cotton balls, and soil.  We are hoping that the heads have grown some grass when we return from the long weekend!

Just a note that there will be no homework for the long weekend.  We hope that the student's and their families have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a nice five day break!
