This Week in GG4SS - March 9 -13

Welcome Back!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful March Break and I hope you are excited to start a new week in GG4SS!!*Drama continues this week. Check the schedule for practice times.*We will be skating this week. On Thursday or Friday. It will depend on the weather and ice conditions. Language Arts - This week we are going to continue working on Sentence Structure.Math - We are going to finish our Unit on Multiplying with 2 and 3 digit numbers.Science - We are going to finish our unit on Light this week. Let's have another Superstar week!!

This Week in GG4SS - February23 - February 27

It is Student Appreciation Week at Gretna Green! It is our turn to show our students how much we appreciate how awesome they are!!!!Monday - Survivor begins! Students will have an extra long recess....10 minutes will be added! Boy's Basketball team will play GG Alumini at 6:00Tuesday - Day 2 of Survivor. Twin Day - dress up indentical to another student. You can make it triplets or quadruplets if you wish! Have fun with it!!Wednesday - Last day of Survivor PJ Day.....yeah...we get to where our PJ'S to school!! It is also the 100th day of school!!Thursday - French Play at Carrefour in the morning. Green and Gold Day. Show your school spirit by wearing your school colors! Students vs Teacher hockey game!! Go Teachers! Girls and Boys Basketball Jamboree at Dr Losier Friday - Student Hockey Tournament!!MARCH BREAK!!! Language Arts - This week we are going to work on Sentence Structure and continue working with vowel blends.Math - We are going to use models to learn how to multiply with two digit numbersScience -We will be working in Lesson 2 of our Light and Sound Unit. We will study how light reflects! Let's have another Suprstar Week!

This Week in GG4SS - February 16- February 20

Welcome to another snowy week in GG4SS!! *A HUGE thank you to the Gretna Greenparents and the Home and School Association for all the fantastic treats and food last week during Staff Appreciation Week!. It was awesome!!!!*Drama continues this week. Check your schedule for practice times.*Girls and Boys basketball continues this week.*If the weather co-operates, we will be going skating on our outdoor rink later this week. Language Arts - This week we are going to continue working with vowel blends.Math - We are going to review last week's multiplication lesson and begin Estimating Multiplication with Large Numbers.Science - We will be working on our Light and Sound unit. This Week in GG4SS - February 9 - 12

We have another super week ahead of us!! It is a 4 day week for students. There is no school on Friday, as teachers have meetings. *Valentine's week - I will be sending home a class list on Monday for anyone that wants to give Valentine's to their classmates. We will have a Valentine's celebration on Thursday afternoon.*Drama starts this week. A new schedule is posted on on-line and will be sent home.*Basketball continues for boys and girls this week.*Skating....as soon as the outdoor rink is ready, we will be going skating. Language Arts - This week we will review "tion, sion,cian". and we will be working on vowel blends.Math - We are going to start our new unit on Multiplying and Dividing with Large Numbers.Science - This week we are to start our unit on "Light and Sound"Let's have another Superstar week!
