Students are reminded that they are to read for 20 minutes each night.  They must log their reading in on the sheet in their homework book. Reading Comprehension:  "Making the Team" (due Friday) Math:  Lesson 2, 3  Writing:  Lesson 2  (We will complete the paragraph and the "Writer's Question" in class) (due Friday) Word Study:  Quiz on September words at the end of the month Students are reminded to bring their $50 fee for school supplies as soon as possible. Fluoride Consent Forms must be returned to school. Students may prepurchase popcorn for the year if they wish.  Please return the form and the money to school. Students are reminded that for every dollar they donate to our Terry Fox Walk fund, they get a ticket for the Principal for a Day draw. Donations of apple juice, Cheez Whiz, and Guest strawberry jam are needed for the breakfast program.  The class that brings in the greatest number of donations per student wins a pizza party. Those students participating in the Hackmatack Book Club need to return their permission forms tomorrow (Wednesday).

        On Thursday, September 13, 4B celebrated Roald Dahl Day, the birthday of the beloved children's author.  Here the children are showcasing some of the many books by the author.
