Students are asked to read for at least 20 minutes each night and to log their reading on their reading log sheets (Homework Books).   Reading:  "The Secret Garden" reading comprehension (due Friday) Writing:  Lesson 5 (due Friday) Math:  Lessons 1 and 2 (due Friday) Social Studies:  Have a conversation with a grownup about changes they've witnessed in their lives.  We will discuss these in classes. Physical Education:  Students will be snowshoeing/skiing tomorrow so they must bring warm outdoor clothing (ski pants, hat, mittens/gloves).

*A letter was sent home to parents today explaining the Grade 5 term change.   Language Arts:  Please complete your final copy of your  2012 resolutions, due tomorrow.   We were fortunate to have a Canadian Olympic Hockey Player, Katie Weatherston in to speak to the grade 3-5's this afternoon. Please complete your writing response on the presentation and what your short and long term goals are.
