Last day of the Month!

Good day everyone. Here is your homework for tonight, and also a few reminders and special news! Math: Complete Page 62 Questions 1-2 Quiz on facts tomorrow. Read 20 minutes tonight. Reading Comprehension sheets are due tomorrow. Spelling test tomorrow. Study your September words. *Please make sure to have your weekly logs back to me signed each Monday, so that I can send them home to you on Friday. * Special News We will be having a Geo Cashing Session tomorrow after lunch! Both grade 5 classes will be doing this together! Also, I would like to congratulate Julie Martin for winning "Principal for a day" draw that took place this week! I can't wait to find out what she has on her agenda! :) Good job Julie! Also Kamryn in 5G will be "Vice-principal for a day" Good job girls! Have a fantastic weekend grade 5! -Miss. Hitchman :)

Math: Study your facts up to 6. Quiz on Friday. Spelling: Spelling test on Friday. Remember to practice your September words. Francais: Complete your "Mon numéro de téléphone est....." sheet for homework. Read for 20 minutes and respond to the reading comprehension sheet in your homework book. (Due Friday) Terry Fox walk is tomorrow at 1:30. :)

Math: Complete questions 1-5,10 on page 55 for homework Study multiplication facts up to 6. Timed quiz on Friday. Language Arts: Read 20 minutes each night and log it in your homework books Science: Complete Roller Coaster designs and remember to include atleast three types of motion.Also find one cool fact about roller coasters to share with the class. If you have peer helper forms, please return them to the school by tomorrow. Wednesday: We will be having the Terry Fox walk @ 1:30. We are still collecting spare change and $1.00 will get your name in for a draw for "Principal for a day"! Time Capsule Pictures

Our class is working on the Medieval period, and for the past week, students were bringing in things that they think time travelers of the future may find different in 50 years from now. We were able to bury the time capsule today and it will hopefully be discovered in 2061! :) Way to go Grade 5H! What a great group effort!

Math: Please complete Page 51 Questions # 1,4,6,7,12. Quiz tomorrow on facts up to 5 Science: We are working on Motion. Please find 20 things around your house that move or could be moved. Please write the different ways they can move. Due on Monday We will be burying our Time Capsule outside tomorrow. Sept 21-homework

Read out of your chapter book and summarize in short, consise sentences what happened in that chapter. Remember to use full sentences and words.
