The 4H club really enjoy their theme days! Jersey day was a great way to kick off the pond hockey tournament last weekend!

We took both grade 4 classes outside one day to show them an experiment. We showed them
what would happen when we threw hot water up into the air on a very cold, cold day. The students had a great time and learned about the effect temperature change has on water.

Starting tomorrow, and continuing each Friday, students will be able to bring one thing to "show and tell" during French class. It can not be something "alive" and should be able to fit in their book bag. We will be showcasing some of them on our class page as well! This will enable students to communicate in French and have fun showing something that they are interested in and proud of!
Can't wait to hear about your treasures, en Francais!

Just a reminder that the Valentine's day meal will be served tomorrow (Friday). If you
are ordering,please bring your money and ticket in before 9am tomorrow.
This will be the only meal served at lunch time tomorrow.

Miss. Hitchman's class is very proud of Lauren Simmons for placing 3rd
overall, in the Speed stacking tournament that took place on Wednesday.
Good job Lauren!
Also, we would like to congratulate Jack Bell and his team for getting 2nd place during a
basketball tournament that took place last weekend! Way to go Jack!

Here are some great pictures of the grade 4 students on their ski trip at Nelson Ski Club!
Everyone had a fantastic time, and it was a beautiful day to get out and explore the trails!
A big thank you goes out to Mr. Ryan for organizing the event, and to the parent volunteers
who came out as well...

On Friday, the grade 4 students went to the Nelson Ski Club for some cross country skiing. It was a beautiful day,
