We have been working on the letters Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg and Hh.  Ask your child to identify words that begin with these letters, practice printing them and find them in print (cereal boxes, newspapers, etc.). Our sight words this month are: I, like, and, to, the, a.  Your child should be able to quickly identify these words by sight.  Keep practicing! We will be finishing up our Math Unit on Patterns soon.  Your child should understand how to recognize, create and extend AB and ABC patterns (blue, green, blue, green  or red, yellow, orange, red, yellow, orange).
