New Books = Thank You!

Thank you to those who have been purchasing books from the Scholastic book orders. With every book order placed we receive bonus coupon rewards to put towards books for the classroom. We just received the books I ordered for the class with the reward coupons we received from the last two book orders. The students are excited to have some brand new books for the listening centre and some new non-fiction books to add to our classroom library. Thank-you!

A Visit with Nora

Last week we had a special visitor in our classroom. Dylan's Mom brought in his new baby sister Nora to show the class. The students even got to touch her toes. Dylan says that he loves being a big brother and that he helps his mom as best as he can with taking care of Nora. Come visit us again Nora!

I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas holiday and thank you for all the wonderful Christmas gifts. Show and tell on Friday will be for everyone. Homework will not start until next week. Please send an extra pair of mitts and socks to keep in your child's bookbag as they tend to get wet during recess and are still wet when it's time to go home. Thanks and see you tomorrow!
