Gracie- Get out quickly.
Ava – Feel the door before you open it because there could be a fire behind it. If it is hot don’t open it.
Samuel – If there is a fire in your house call 911.
Alexander - Test your fire detector to make sure that it is working.
Keira – Make sure there is a fire detector on each level of your house.
Luke- Check your fire alarms to make sure they work.
Tyson – Check the door first to see if it is hot before you open it. If it is hot don’t open it. Go out the window or wave something out the window so the firefighter knows that you are still up in your room.
Graham – Make sure you replace the batteries in your fire detector to make sure it works.
Emma – Stop, drop and roll if you are on fire and don’t forget to cover your face.
Mirinda- Get out safely.
Lincoln- Stay outside when you get out and don’t go back in for anything.
Sophie – Get out quickly.
Dylan – Make sure you have a fire extinguisher in your house.

A big thank-you goes out to all the students that brought in donations for the breakfast program. We were the winning class in K-2 so we won the pizza party (I will send home a note of when this will be). The final total was 54 items which is awesome. We also won the K-2 Dynamo Dragons Award (Class of the Month for September). The kids have been working super hard on getting along with classmates, keeping the classroom tidy, displaying good manners, keeping the hallway tidy and walking through the hallways in an orderly manner. It was sure a lucky day for us. Keep up the super work boys and girls and have an awesome weekend!

We are going to be very busy after school today. Some of us are going to Sparks. Six of us are going to hockey for our first practice of the year. Samuel and Xander are going to Mad Science. Six people are going to swimming lessons tonight. We hope everyone has lots of fun.
