Our Fun Weather Song!

Posted: November 6, 2012

Math: Orange duo-tang, sheet one (with the crocodile) is due for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 7th. Sheet two is to be finished for Friday, November 9th.   Reading: Guided reading books are now being sent home on a nightly basis (Monday-Thursday). I am asking that each student read for a total of 15 minutes per night in they're books. Each Monday and Wednesday a new book will be sent home. Parents- please sign your child's sheet "Mes lectures à la maison" either every night or Thursday nights and return this sheet with your child on Friday's. This will help remind students they must read every night as well as parents. I have suggested to my students that if reading gets missed one night for varying circumstances, they can make up the 15 minutes the next night.   Sciences: We are talking about weather and how it affects us in our daily lives. I have asked students to take a look at tomrorow's weather if they have time (this can be done on 'The Weather Network" www.theweathernetwork.com or on the tv channel. This is not mandatory, though it will lead to better discussion tomorrow.   Reminders: Drama tomorrow 2:30-3:30. There will be an assembly on Friday to remember and respect all those, past and present, who have fought for our country.
