It is with sincere pleasure and sadness that I write this last entry on my teacher page for my grade 5 students and parents. I had such a wonderful year teaching each and every one of you! You are all so wonderful. My first year as a teacher could not have been with better students and parents. The support from all aspects of the community was beyond what I expected. My students taught me as much as I taught them. It has truly been a remarkable and incredible year. I would like to thank the parents and guardians of my students. Your support and understanding throughout the year was very much appreciated. I thank you for the opportunity to teach your delightful children. It is a year and a class I will never forget! Félicitations mes étoiles de cinquième année! Bonne chance l’année prochaine et les années qui suivent. Vous êtes tous capables de réussir!

I would like to invite all parents to send in one photo of their child for the year book by May 17th, 2013. The photo can either be scanned and emailed to christinea.steeves@nbed.nb.ca or can be sent in to the school with your child. Please make sure to have your child’s name on the back of the photo or in the email. All photos that are sent in will be returned by the end of May.   Thank you for your cooperation and help in this matter! Ms. Steeves and the Year Book Committee.

I would like to take a moment to thank all 13 of my students. There have been a lot of changes in our daily routines with the upcoming math assessment and they have adapted quite well. I feel proud of their attitude towards change. It is also a breath of fresh air to see them so engaged in their school work and learning. This is a beautiful reflection on their wonderful and unique personalities! BRAVO MES ÉTOILES DE CINQUIÈME ANNÉE!!
