Monday Message - April 10th-13th

Bonjour mes amies! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter holiday and the Easter bunny found you. In Math this week we will be exploring a new unit on division and seeing how it relates to subtraction. We will also be starting our weekly Math quizzes on mental math strategies. You can practise by opening up the mental math file found under the documents tab on this page. In English we will be writing a new story this week relating to Mr. Comeau and a donkey! In French we will begin script writing for an upcoming play with our teams. Let's have a great week équipe Comeau!

Le Printemps!

The Comeau team just finished their final copies of their Printemps story and had a great sharing them with their peers in grades 3-5, en francais! Bravo mes amies!!!

Bravo Lushula!!!

Gymnastics Miramichi competitive team participated this past weekend in the 2012 Rhythmic Gymnastics Atlantic Championships in Halifax, coached by Miruna Timotin (le maman à Lushula). Our very own Lushula won the Gold medal for all around best performance in her age group. BRAVO LUSHULA, YAHOO!!!!!!!!

Science: Students are asked to put the finishing touches on their Science Fair projects. They are due tomorrow. They should also bring any necessary materials needed for their project. Report Cards: Please return report card envelopes. If you are unable to make your scheduled parent teacher interview please let me know, thanks. Field Trip: The team will be going to Carrefour Beausoleil on Thursday for a special field trip. Please return the permission slip on or before Thursday, thanks. Please Note: There is no other assigned homework for tonight as today's focus was placed on completing our science fair projects.
