Many Thanks!

 I want to thank all of you for a fantastic year!  We have come a long way in a short period of time and I look forward to seeing you all again in the Fall.  Thank you once again for your cards, gifts and kind words over the last couple of days.  It was greatly appreciated!

Devoirs pour la semaine

 Reading: Please practise reading French books assigned for this week. I will be away until Friday but advised Mlle. Martin to assign any class work that was incomplete as homework.  So please listen to Mlle Martin Comeau team.  I will see you all again on Friday:)

Monday Message - June 11-15th

 Bonjour Equipe Comeau!  Well this will be our last "full" week of school of the year!  We will be putting the finishing touches on our rockets this week for our big launch day scheduled for next week.  We will also start another pretty cool project in Science this week as well.  In Math we will complete our unit on Fractions.  In French we will complete our latest writing activity on Monday.  I would also like to inform you that I will be away in Fredericton marking Grade 3 Math assessments from Tuesday until Thursday.  Ms. Martin will be my supply teacher during these 3 days.  Let's show Mlle Martin just how awesome we are:)  Have another great week Equipe Comeau and check out our latest image gallery of last week's field trip!

Tourisme Nouveau Brunswick

 The students completed their latest video today relating to their social studies project area of study on our province, le Nouveau Brunswick!  After initial research online and working in groups they created their own scripts based on research and produced this video.  Bravo mes ami(e)s!!!

Monday Message

 Welcome back Comeau Team.  We have finally completed our Math assessments and are ready for another fun filled week.  We will be putting the finishing touches on our latest French video and will hopefully have it posted on Monday.  In Science this week we will be "flying" into another intersting unit of study!  In Math we will be exploring fractions and units of measure.  We will also begin another French writing activity this week as well.  Don't forget to return your permission slips for our field trip on Friday.  One more thing, the last day of school for students will now be Thursday, June 21st.  This day will be a full day.

English - Reading 15 minutes. Social Studies: Please practise reading your script for our upcoming video on le Nouveau Brunswick.

Monday Message - May 22nd-25th

 Wow, I hope you all enjoyed this fantastic long weekend.  What a great way to start off a week!  This week we will be presenting our French plays to the other classess in grades kindergarten to grade two, en francais.  We will also finish writing our scripts for our Social Studies project on New Brunswick.  In Math we will be writing our Math assessment and continuing our review in class.  Continue doing a great job Comeau and speaking French in class and you just "might" get a specail surprise on Friday!

 Francais: Lecture: Read 3 books to a family member.               French Script: Begin reviewing your lines for our upcoming play that your group has written.               Please focus on Expression and fluency when reading.              Math: We will be reviewing each day this week for our upcoming Math assessment.  I will try to keep Math homwork to a mimimum.  Please practise your mental math questions found under the documents tab on this page. English - Reading 15 minutes.             - Journal Entry- Find five new vocabulary words that were learned from this week's reading.  Put these new words into a sentence. Due Friday. Reminder: There will be a bake sale tomorrow by the grade fives.  If you would like to buy an item please bring some money.  We will also be painting tomorrow so dress appropriately.:)
