Our class page is back, finally!  We had a great time on Friday during our field trip to the curling rink.  The team was great and I was very proud of their behavior.  I just might have to plan another adventure in the near future ... mmmmmm.  In Math this week will be exploring estimation and round numbers.  This will lead to the estimation of addition and subtraction of whole numbers.  We will also be working on our mulitplication facts up to 5x5 this week as well as our mental math strategies.  In English language arts the students will complete their scripts by Friday for our puppet show.  This week's journal entries will focus on the summary of what they have read in their books thus far.  In French we will be exploring some new books and continuing to work on word choice in our writing activities.  Let's have another great week Equipe Comeau!

 Bonjour mes ami(e)s!  Wow, the last week before Christmas, yahoo!  There will be no assigned homework for this week, joyeux noel mes ami(e)s!  There will be Drama practice on Monday from 2:30-3:30.  Our Christmas Concert is on Tuesday, December 20th with the first concert at 10:00 a.m. and the second, exact same concert will be at 12:30 p.m.  There will be FREE Popcorn for all students on Wednesday compliments of our Home & School.  Wednesday will be "Santa Hat or Elf Ears Day" and Thursday is "Wear Green & Red" to celebrate the holiday season.  Friday, December 23rd will be a half day of school for students with dismissal starting at 11:15 a.m.  Students will be arriving home on their regular afternoon bus. I have only received the pick up plans for one student thus far for our half day on Friday.  Please forward them no later than Thursday, thanks.
