 Francais: Read 3 books to a family member                 Morning Message: Write a morning message for tomorrow. Maths: Complete questions 1,2 and 3.  Pg. 143     English: Reading 15 minutes.                                        Reading Log Entry: Summary - This week's entry will be questioning.  The students are expected to write 5 questions relating to their novel.  Entry is due on Friday Science: We will be having a school Science fair at Gretna Green on Tuesday, March 27th.  We will be working on a science experiment and its write up in class this week.  I would ask that the students select an experiment by Wednesday.  Check out page 3 on our web links tab on this page for some ideas.

Snowshoe Friday

 We will be snowshoeing on Friday, March 2nd.  We will be starting at 12:30 and snowshoeing in our very own storyland park.  If any parent or grandparent would like to join uswe are more than welcome!

Monday Message - February 29th-March 2nd

Voici Nos Marionettes!!!

 The day was a fun one today!  The team finished their puppets today and are now ready to create their stages. This project has been a hit with the team from day one and we all look forward to presenting our puppet shows to the students of Gretna Green next week!  Bravo mes ami(e)s!!!

Monday Message - Feb.20th-24th

 Congratulations to Kaelyn for being selected to represent our grade in the district 16 dance competition.  Bonne chance Kaelyn!  Don't forget to study your French spelling words for our quiz on Thursday for the upcoming spellathon contest.  We will be working on our puppets this week for our upcoming puppet show, yeah!  Don't forget to make plans to join us for our first ever family winterlude on Thursday at Gretna Green from 6:00-8:00 pm. Remember, there is no school on Friday for students due to professional development meetings for teachers.

Monday Message - Feb.13th-17th

 Welcome back Equipe Comeau!  I hope you all had fun playing in the freshly fallen snow!  We are in for another busy week at Gretna Green.  On Tuesday it will be Valentines Day and pink shirt day ... remember to wear your pink shirt.  On Friday evening we will be having our first official family winterlude.  Check out our school website for more details.  We will be having a Math quiz on addition using estimation on Friday.  We will also be creating our puppets this week as well.  Don't forget to attend the annual CUTE Awards this week at the JMH theatre on February 15th at 7:00 pm.  Bonne Fete à Huner R. et Gillian!  Stay tuned for a couple of cool experiments in Science this week too!
