 Greetings everyone I hope you enjoyed your extended weekend. Monday will allow us to see a special presentation on bullying. This will be a great way to explore this important topic.   We are in for a spooky week on the Comeau team!  It is Halloween activity week and we will have a special activity planned each day this week.  In class we have been working on our Halloween song, "C'est L'Halloween".  We will be taking our song to the media room on Wednesday for a recording and post it on our school class page.  If any student would like to bring a costume on Wednesday for our recording they may do so.  We will also have some special visitors from Holland visiting us this week.  In Math this week we will have a quiz on additon, subtraction and number patterns.  We will also be working on our first French process piece of writing this week, "en francais".  We will also do our best to record some new podcasts this week.  Let's have another great week on the Comeau team!!!

Greetings everyone!  I hope you all had a restful and fun filled weekend.  Thursday will be retake day for school photos.  Remember to sign and return your midterm reports this week as well.  This is also book fair week.  We will be viewing books on Monday and returning on Wednesday for those interested in purchasing some great books.  In Math this week we will be finishing up our unit on number sense and patterns.  Our unit test will be next week.  We will also be exploring some new books in French this week and take our French song, C'est L'Halloween, to the media room for a rehearsal.  Remember no school on Friday for all of you.  Teachers will be having a curriculum implementation day.

I hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving weekend!  This week is a short one and will see us create some more podcasts en francais.  New books will also be going home this week and we will continue to work on expanding our vocabulary and sentence structures in French.  Midterm reports will be going home Friday for all students.  This will give you and indication of your child's overall progress in the Immersion program thus far.  There will also be a cross country meet at French Fort Cove on Wednesday for all our runners.  In Math this week we will continue to work on patterns and overall number sense.
