Our veteran Mr. John Forbes was in our class today for a special visit.  He presented to each and every member of our class a framed photo of himself with the students.  He also spoke to the students regarding the importance of making good choices throughout their lives.  Thanks so much Mr. Forbes for your generosity and words of wisdom! 

Greetings Dynamo Dragons!  It was nice to meet so many moms and dads over the last few days.  You are all so lucky to have such wonderful parents!  We will be skating on Thursday from 11:00-11:45 at the Civic Center this week.  We will also be assigning team captains to our groups this week.  I will explain to you their role today.  In French we will be starting a new writing activity on your own "bonhomme de neige".  Continue to make a strong effort in speaking French in class.  In Math we will be focussing on our mental math strategies for facts up to 18.  We will also begin working on our class song for the Christmas concert throughout the week.  Wow, 20 days until Christmas ... the count down is on!

  Wow here we are rolling through the final week of November!  This week the class will be making some pizza as part of our "Je Suis Une Pizza" song.  The students will all have a slice of pizza on Friday, nice treat!  In French we will be creating a digital photo story of recent French stories.  Great job on sharing these stories to our friends in grades four and five.  We will also be exploring some poetry in French class this week.  In Math we will be having a quiz on Wednesday.  The quiz will include representing numbers using base ten materials.  Let's have another great week on the Comeau team boys and girls.  Oh yes, one other thing!  We will be having our month end draw for prizes on Friday, yahoo!
