Monday Message - Sept. 27th-Oct.1st

Greetings everyone!  Wow we are already rolling into our last week of September!  This week's focus will be on our writing skills in French.  I am also looking forward to seeing your continued efforts in your French speaking skills.  We will continue to explore patterns in Math this week as well.  I also think it is time for a show case video of our reading skills.  Any volunteers?

Francais: Lecture - mini livre Mathématiques:  Practice numbers 1-35 (en Français) English: Log Entry - due Friday Question:  What makes Gordon Korman such a good author?  Use examples from the novel, "The Island",  to support your answer.  REMINDER FOR PARENTS:  There will be a information session on the French Immersion program this evening at 6:00 in my classroom.  Please enter the school via the main entrance.  Our session will last approximately 30 minutes. Learning to Read!

The students are continuing to make some strong gains in their French reading skills this week.  They are reading to the class, each other and to themselves consistently each day!  We are all very proud of their progress thus far.  Check out our latest image gallery to see the team in action!
