We have a four day week ahead of us!! There is NO SCHOOL on Friday due to Parent-Teacher Interviews.*Our Scholastic Book Fair takes place this week. We will be visiting the book fair on Monday and Tuesday at 10:30. *The book fair will also be open Thursday evening during Parent-Teacher Interviews.*We have another Mystery Skype planned for Wednesday morning. Let's hope that Skype works for us.*Remember to wear warm clothes. It is starting to get much cooler during your morning recess. Hats and mitts are a must! As well as, indoor and outdoor footwear. Language Arts - We will finish evaluating "The Trip" story using our Student Rubric. Then we will write our own story.Math - We will work on Lesson 3 Extending Patterns.Social Studies - We will finish our Autobiographies and choose an Explorer to write a biography for. Let's have another Superstar week!!

The Gretna Green Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place next week. Our class is scheduled to visit the book fair on Monday and Tuesday at 10:30. The fair will also be open on Thursday night during Parent-Teacher Interviews.

Welcome to another great week in GG4SS.*Our Remembrance Day Service will take place Monday morning at 10:15. Remember to dress nice and be ready to use your best singing voice.*Mr. Savoy will be visiting classes on Wednesday to do an Internet Safety presentation.*Drama continues this week. Check your schedule for your practice day.*Remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Tuesday November 11 in honor of of Veterans.Language Arts - This week we will be looking at the Student Rubric for Writing. We will also review contractions.Math - We will be starting our new unit on Patterns.Social Studies - We will be writing an Autobiography. Let's have another Superstar week!

Happy November! It is coming in with a bang!! Remember to have warm clothing and footwear for outdoor recess. It is important to have indoor and outdoor footwear! *It is a quiet week in GG4SS. We will continue practicing for our Remembrance Assembly. Language Arts - This week we will be learning about contractions, working with our Nifty Fifty words and continuing with our Writing Traits.Math - We are going to complete a review of our Unit on Whole Numbers and we will have the test on Wednesday.Social Studies - We are going to start our Unit on Exploration! Let's have another Superstar Week!
