An interesting sidenote to today's construction of the concrete slab for our 30 Year Proud Gazebo unfolded this afternoon.  The first principal of Gretna Green Elementary 30 years ago, Mr. Donald Donahue, embedded his hand print along side our youngest Gretna Green student, Chase in Ms. Girouard's kindergarten class today.  These two hand prints helped to symbolize the connection with Gretna Green's past and future.  Check out the image gallery for some of the highlights.
