Our annual Spring Book Fair was held last week and we would like to inform you that it was a huge success. There was over $3600.00 in overall sales. That tells us that there are a lot of great books in the hands of our students. Thanks so much to all of you who came out to support this year's fair!

Mme Beaudoin from the Village Acadien provided a French Cultural presentation to all of Gretna Green today. She shared with our students what life was like for Acadien pioneers and it proved to be a great learning experience for all of our students.
Elementary students from around the district gathered at Gretna Green today for the annual district STEM Fair. All participants had an opportunity to share their cool projects and participate in some interactive science based activities. Thanks again to all those involved in organizing this great event, especially our very own Mme Dickson!
Our grade 3-5 students had a great afternoon displaying their science projects for parents and fellow GG students. The District STEM Fair is being held in the Gretna Green gymnasium and the public is invited to attend between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm

Congratulations to the students of the GG Times News group. They won a CUTE Award for Video Documentation at last night's CUTE Awards held at JMH. The entire school community is very proud of you!! Well done!!!
Our Scholastic Book Fair is quickly approaching - March 25-28th - and we are looking for a few volunteers to help run the fair. If you are interested in spending a couple of hours at the fair, please contact Mrs. Clark at 778-6099. You can choose the time that suits you best.
The CUTE Awards finalists have been announced for the upcoming gala to be held at the James M Hill auditorium on Wednesday, March 20th beginning at 7:00pm. We are happy to announce that our school is well represented with a group of 7 stellar finalists! Congratulations goes out to the following teachers and students, GG Times Crew, Shahd Adoubali, Mrs. Carolyn Simmons and Ms.
Mme Gallant and her students started their Fish Friends program yesterday with the arrival of their salmon eggs. The students will oversee the hatch of these eggs which will lead to the relase of salmon fry into the mighty North West Miramichi river in the June!
