The GG Times spent a wonderful evening interviewing a variety of people this evening at the annual Rotary Pond Hockey Tournament. Patrick, Jennifer and Molly did a fantastic job in capturing the spirit of this year's tournament. A difinite highlight was securing an exclusive interview with the premier himself, David Alward. Check out our recent GG Times video for some of the highlights!
PJs and great books filled the halls and classrooms of Gretna Green this evening as the Home & School hosted its annual PJ Literacy Night. Gretna Green alumni graciously accepted their role as designated readers for our students and a great time was had by all. Our reading session was followed by milk, cookies and a good book all donated by the dedicated parents who make up our Home & School. Thanks again to all our parents and teachers who made this evening's experience a memorable one for everyone involved. Let's do it again next year!

The entire learning community of Gretna Green is extremely pleased to announce a wonderful new partnership between our school and Tim Horton’s. This partnership will provide a unique learning opportunity for our students and engage our school teachers. Our plan is to refurbish our existing Story Land Park so that it is a multipurpose space that will be used during all seasons for all subject areas. We plan to redo the trail system, plant native trees and plants, and create a biking trail. The learning opportunities that will be created with this funding are endless!
This year's basketball season is in full swing at Gretna Green. The boys and girls participating this year are having lots of fun. We would like to take this opportunity in thanking this year's coaches for doing such a great job. They are, Ms. Hitchman, Ms. Moody, Mr. Ryan, Ms. Matheson, Ms. Gardiner and Ms.
