Dear Parents and Students,

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well during these very difficult times.  I want to say to all my students that I miss you all very much and I think of you all often.  I imagine that many of you have already been going to some of our favorite classroom websites so this will enhance what you have already been doing.  Parents, this is not meant to overwhelm you in any way so I encourage you to do what you can, when you can.  Every week on Monday I will put the new learning opportunities for the week on my teacher page.  It will include some Reading, Writing and Math.  I will also send along some phys ed opportunities from Mr. Ryan and some activities dealing with emotional wellbeing.  For some of the websites, parents will have to set up an account.  I am also encouraging anybody who doesn’t have a library card to get one now online because it is a great resource.  I have often said to my students that when we are together in the classroom, we are a family and I still consider each and every one of them part of my family.  Please have fun with the learning and please don’t hesitate to contact me by email at yvonne.girouard@nbed.nb.ca if you have any questions or concerns.  Remember we are all in this together!

Take care,

Yvonne Girouard
