Grade 2/3 Soccer

Grade 2/3 Soccer:

 There will be grade 2/3 soccer for students interested on Monday, September 19th from 2:30 – 3:30.  Students are to stay after school and be picked up at the gymnasium at 3:30pm.

 We will be having 2-3 practices every Monday followed my 1 or 2 games against Croft Elementary.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Ryan at the school.

Miramichi Football

Any children, boys or girls, in the following age categories, interested in learning how to play football may do so by registering and attending the introductory sessions that will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the MVHS football field.  

 

ATOM         (10 to 11 yrs. Born 2005/2006)                          $80.00

 

PEEWEE       (12 to 13 yrs. Born 2003/2004)                           $80.00

 

BANTAM     (14 to 15 yrs. Born 2001/2002)                            $80.00

 

 

A gear deposit fee of $50.00 will be required at the time gear is handed out.  Please provide a post-dated cheque for November 15, 2016 made out to MIRAMICHI FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION Inc. in the amount of $50.00.  Once gear is returned at the end of the season your post-dated cheque will be returned to you.

Cross Country Season Begins!

Our ASD-N Elementary cross country season is slated to start on Wednesday, September 23rd.  The first meet will be held at St Andrews Elementary and begin at 4:00 pm.  Please be there for 3:30.  Click the link below for dates and location of all four meets of the season.

Mountain Biking

Our annual ASD-N Mountain bike races will be starting next week. These races are open for any grade 4 and 5 students. Each event starts with a "ride through" of the course at 4pm.  Here are the dates for the 3 races May 12th @ CroftMay 20th @ NSEEJune 3rd @ Gretna Green

Boys & Girls' Floor Hockey Schedule

Good luck to this year's school floor hockey team!  Please click on the attachement below for a copy of our upcoming schedule.  All players are reminded to wear a helmet with shield or cage.  Gloves, hockey stick (without tape on blade) are also required.  Remember- play hard, play fair and have fun!

The 4/5 boys Basketball team will have a mini jamboree on Thursday, January 29th @ Dr. Losier.  Game times are 4:30 and 6:30

Outdoor Adventure Club

The Outdoor Adventure Club will meet on Wednesday of this week from 2:30 - 4:00.  We will be snowshoeing up to the airstrip.  Students are welcome to pack a small bag with water and snacks if they like

Outdoor Adventure Club

Boys 4/5 Basketball

The boys 4/5 Basketball team will have their first game on Thursday, January 8th at 3:45pm at Gretna Green against Harkins Elementary.  Players are to stay after school for practice before game time.

Basketball Clinics

Miramichi Valley will be hosting free basketball clinics for mini aged players.  The boy's clinic will take place on Wednesday October 8th and the girls will go on Thursday October 9th.  Both clinics will take place at MVHS and will start at 6 PM.  Mini is for kids in grades 3 to 6 and not born before 2003.
