Homework for the week of october7-october 11

In math this week, we will continue to work on

-saying numbers forward by 1s to 20.

-Saying numbers backward by 1s from 10

-Recording a given number to 20

-Reading a given number 0-20

-Identify missing number

- Describe a repeating pattern    

In French Language Arts, we will work on the following oral structures:

·        De quelle couleur sont tes cheveux? (J’ai les cheveux blonds.) What color is your hair?

·        De quel couleur sont tes yeux? (J’ai les yeux bleus) What color are your eyes?

·        Quel était la date hier?  (Hier, c’était le dimanche 6 octobre 2019.) What was the date the date yesterday?

·        En quelle année es-tu? (Je suis en première année) What grade are You in?

·        Qu’est qu’il y a dans ta classe/ sac a dos ? Dans ma classe, il y a … what is in your classroom and what is in your book bag?

Homework: Students are encouraged to read every night the book to be read this week is “Qu’est ce qu’il y a dans ta salle de classe?.” A math sheet will also be send home.  The words of the week to practice reading are. (est, aujourd’hui, deux, dans ici ,les)

 Our Roots of Empathy baby will be visiting our class this Tuesday October 8. The grade 6 class will be selling ticket for 1$ in support of the guitar club for a chance to win 3 free meal at the cafeteria.
