 In Math this week we will begin our unit on division.  In French we will be finishing our French stories on "Le Printemps".  The draft copies are great and I can't wait to see what you produce in your final copies.  Let's hope we get a few eggs hatching this week.  There will also be a sinking ship in class this week .... mmmmmmm, let's hope we can help it from sinking!  Our spellathon test will be on Friday.  I would also like to remind all of you that pledges will be due on April 18th.  Remember, the top class get's a pizza party, yahoo!!!  I would also like to congratulate you on producing your first GG Times en francais! It was awesome and can now be found on our class page under the "videos" tab.  Let's have another great week Comeau team!

 Francais: Lecture: Read your book aloud to a family member.                             Sound sheet "ill"                             Sign Math unit test                             Song: Bonjour Monsieur Maths: No Math homework this evening.  The students completed their test today.         : Sign Math test on subtraction. Spelling Test- Tomorrow French Journal- due Tomorrow English Language Arts: Begin working on your draft copy of  your speech. P.S.  The class continued with their french stories on "le printemps" and we shared them with Mme Lockerbie.  She thought they were great !!!  Stay tuned for our next GG Times "en francais", bravo mes ami(e)s!!!

 The eggs for our salmon project have arrived!  Over 300 Atlantic salmon eggs are now in our aquarium and the class is so excited.  We will be studying the life cylce and environmental issues facing the Atlantic salmon over the next few weeks.  We will be releasing these young parr into the Little Southwest Miramichi river in June.

        1.  Choose your topic and have it approved by the teacher.   2.  Research your speech.  You will be given some class time.   3.  Speeches must be 3-4 minutes in length.  If it is too short or too long, you will be penalized.   4.  Speeches will be presented in the class on April 26, 27 and 28.   The top three from the class will move on to the school contest.   Mr. Buggie, Language Arts Teacher
