Wow, I hope you all enjoyed your extended weekend and are ready for a new week at Gretna Green.  There is something "fishy" going on in our class this week.  Don't worry Comeau team, I will get to the "bottom" of it.  In Math this week we will be having a quiz on subtraction on Thursday.  We wil be having a spelling quiz on Friday and our French journals will be due on Friday as well.  We will also be starting our French stories on "Le Printemps" on Tuesday.  Another science olympics activity will be on the menu for this week as well.  Information regarding this years spell-a-thon will be sent home on Monday.Reminders regarding our school spell-a-thon. Well Comeau Team you are in for a short week.  Yes that's right, only three days of school for students this week.  There will be no school on Thursday or Friday due to curriculum meetings and parent-teacher interviews.  You are also in for a "magical week" .... mmmmmmmmm I wonder what that means?  Progress reports will be going home on Tuesday.  There will be no French reading logs or spelling test this week.  We will be having our mental Math quiz on Wednesday. In Math we will be exploring estimation in subtraction as well as a new Math game for mulitplication.   In French we will be starting a new writing activity, song and books.  Check out this week's song, Aujourd'hui Il Pleut!
