This Week in GG4SS - April 25 - April 28

Welcome back to a short week Superstars!!  There are only 4 days of school this week because Friday is a Professional Development Day for Teachers!

Drama continues this week. Check your schedule for dates.

Our Choir members will be joining the choir at the Music Festival on Tuesday morning.  Good Luck and have fun.

Remember to dress for the weather...we are still going outside for our morning recess!

Language Arts - This week we will continue to work on Reading Comprehension Activities.

Math - We are going working on Fractions and Benchmarks for Fractions this week.

Science - We are going to be starting our Habitat projects this week!!

This Week in GG4SS - April 18 - April 22

Welcome back to another great week in GG4SS!!  I hope everyone enjoyed the super weather on the weekend!!

Spring has finally sprung and students will now be going outside for both lunch and morning recess.  Remember to dress appropriately!!

Archery for Grade 4 students will take place this week on Thursday afterschool from 2:30 - 4:00.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Drama continues this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Friday is Earth Day... we will discuss what we can to do celebrate this awesome day.

 

Language Arts - This week we will be focusing on Reading Comprehension activities.

Math - We will be starting a new unit on Fractions this week.

Social Studies - We will be presenting our projects on the Canadian province and Territories.

Science - We will be starting our unit of study on Habitats.

This Week in GG4SS - April 11- April 15

Congratulations Superstars on preparing and presenting awesome STEM Fair projects.  I am very proud of all of you for your hard work!!

Congratulations to Jonah and Drayden who will be taking their project to the District Fair at Nelson School on Thursday morning.

Drama continues this week on Monday, Tuesday and Friday (Full cast).

The weather is getting nicer outside but the playground is still very wet.  Remember to wear rubber boots or winter boots.

Remember to return your tickets and money for the Home and School Fundraiser.

Language Arts - This week we will be learning at nouns, verbs and adjectives.

Math - This week we are going to be finishing our unit on Multiplying and Dividing Large numbers.

Social Studies - This week we will finish our Canadian Province projects and present them.
