Parent teacher interviews slated for Thursday have been cancelled due to school cancellations. Parent Teacher times for Friday have been extended from 9:00-11:00 to 9:00-12:00. If parents would like to reschedule an interview time they are asked to contact homeroom teachers directly.
Mrs. Gardiner would like to remind all girls in grades 4 & 5 that there will be girls' basketball practice Thursday, November 22nd after school from 2:30-3:30 pm. All students are reminded to please have their driving arrangements organized prior to practice.
Now that winter like weather has been sprung upon us we would like to remind everyone to please dress for the weather as we will be going outside during noon hour recess whenever possible, thanks!
We would like to remind everyone that our spellathon pledeges are due on Tuesday, November 13th for all students. All money raised will be used to assist us in supporting student based activities and resources throughout the year. We would like to thank all those who participated to support our school!
We would like to inform our learning community that there will be no school on Friday, November 9th for all students as it is a designated Professional Learning Day for staff. There will also be no school on Monday, November 12th as this is our designated Remembrance Day holiday for all students.
6/7 Walsh and 7/8 Blakely-Doucette spent some time in the lab this week building hovercrafts with Ms. Breau and Mr. Jenkins! The students were very engaged in their learning!

The Miramichi Regional Services Commission awarded Gretna Green with their first ever Green Award for a school. Our school has long practised environmental initiatives and were recognized for their efforts this evening. A special thanks to Mme Gallant for being our school champion on green ideas for our students to implement. Way to go Gators!

Good luck to our school elementary soccer team who will be participating in our year end soccer jamboree on Friday, October 12th. This will be the final series of soccer games for the season. Mr. Comeau and Mr Ryan will be on site to supervise our school team throughout the day.
