In math this week, we will, we will be working on counting number to 70, count by two, 5 and 10 , and  sorting items based on color, shape or size.Create several sets of different objects that have the same number

In French Language Arts, we will work on the following oral structures:

Comment s’appelle ton ami€?

Quel âge a ton ami(e)?

Comment est ton amie?

We will also learn Christmas vocabulary and working on the sound “on”

Homework is a great way to reinforce skills as well as keep you updated with what we are learning in class.  This week, homework will be sent home on Tuesday to be returned to school by Friday.   

Students are encourage to read every night the book to be read this week we will be reading que fait un bon ami and the poem Eve escargot. A math sheet is will also be sent home page 40 Ce que je sais sur le nombre 12 (What I know about the number 12, present the number 12 in two different ways).Words to practice reading this week are ( ami, amie, bon, bonne, fait, avec)

Remember there will be no school on Friday November 22 as we will be having parent- teacher Interviews. We will also have scholastic book fair all week from 8:00 am to 2:20 each day.

As the weather outside continues to get colder, please make sure that your child comes to school dress  for the weather (hat, mittens, snow pants) Don’t forget to send a written note  if your child is being picked up or needs to go on a different bus after school as this is very important for your child’s safety.

Please be sure to check your child’s binder daily and our website weekly.  I will have important notes and documents on both.
