Hello everyone we would like to remind everyone that February 1st will be a regular day for all K-8 students. It was originally scheduled as a Professional Learning Day but that day was already used in the fall.
Please refer to the document tabs on this homepage and read the two documents entitled "Orange Phase Update Part One" and "Orange Phase Update Part Two". Gretna Green School has now entered the Orange Phase Level effective midnight tonight, January 5, 2021. All students must bring two clean masks to school each day. Mask use is now mandatory for all students and staff. If you have any further questions, please contact keith.comeau@nbed.nb.ca or krista.bransfield@nbed.nb.ca.
We would like to remind all of our Gators that our first day of 2021 will be on January 4th for all students in grades K-8. Enjoy the rest of your holidays and see you all on Monday, January 4th Gators! All cafeteria services will be closed and will reopen on Thursday, January 7th.
We are also sharing the letter from Education Minister Dominic Cardy once again, as a reminder of the “Mask Up” campaign.
We would like to thank Ms. Moreshouse, our teachers and EAs along with Mr. Duplessie who helped with recording and editing this year's producton. Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy the show!
There will be no school for all K-8 students on Friday, December 4th. Call in parent-teacher interviews will continue on Friday morning. The afternoon will be designated for professional learning opportunities for GG staff. Enjoy your extended weekend Gators!
Greetings everyone! We would like to remind everyone that K-8 progress reports will be going home on Tuesday, December 1st. Parent-Teacher interviews will be done by phone this year. A notice regarding parents or guardians scheduling a time has already gone home. We would also like to remind all of you that there will be no school for all K-8 students on Friday, December 6th.
The Government of New Brunswick has moved Zone 1 into the Orange Recovery Phase, effective at midnight on November 19th. Because some ASD-N schools are located within this zone, and we know that some staff and students travel from one zone into another, we are sharing this updated information:
Attention all Gators ... there will be no school on Friday, November 20th for all students. All GG staff will be participating in professional development opportunities on this day.
Our Gators and teachers are in the process of organizing a virtual Remembrance Day ceremony in honor of community veterans and families. We plan on streaming our program on November 10th at 10:00 am, via Facebook Live. The live view feed can be accessed on our school Facebook page. This will allow our students to particpate in honoring our veterans and allow those at home to view our program virtually as well.
