District 16 technology mentors, Mr.Hayward and Mr. Savoy provided a fun filled morning for the grade five students of Gretna Green Elementary. The students participated in their first official geocaching session of the year in Story Land park. Each cache had a part of a word puzzle that could only be solved once all of the caches were found using their GPS units. All the caches were also associated with a specific Christmas carol that had to be solved by each team of students. This activity proved to be an authentic differentiated activity for our grade five students. Thanks again to Mr.
