Français: Practise your sound sheets.  Choose two sheets, any two sheets, from your sound book.  We will be reviewing all our sheets studied thus far during the next two weeks.   Students are also asked to finish the drawing of their monsters for tomorrow.  We are beginning a new story in French and students will begin the phyical and personal description of their monsters tomorrow ... ewwww! English Language Arts: Please practise your lines for the readers theatre project we are working on in class.  We will try to be ready for a podcast session for Thursday and Friday, yeah! Please practise our class Christmas song.  It can be found on this class page.  Students are reminded to dress appropriately for our Christmas concert Tomorrow at noon.  Yeah should be fun!

This is Christmas Concert week!  Our concert will be held on Wednesday, December 15th from 12:00-1:00 pm.  The team did a great job during dress rehearsal last week so I know we are ready for Wednesday's show.  Remember to bring your skates and helmets for our last skating session of 2010.  We will be heading to the multimedia room this week to record our reader's theatre.  In French we will be creating a character for Christmas and describing all of his or hers cool characteristics.  We will also do our best to finish our novel, Best Christmas Pagent Ever, this week as well.  Remember to bring all of your library books back for Tuesday.  This will be our last library session before Christmas.

 The entire Comeau team would like to welcome our new Language Arts teacher to the team!  He will be our new English Language Arts teacher starting tomorrow.  We look forward to learning and exploring some new and creative learning activities with our very own Mr. Buggie, yeah!

 The entire class recently created three seprate teams.  Each team designed their own logo, moto and team name.  We are learning how to use each others strengths in cooperative learning activities to problem solve.  It has been a big hit with the entire class. Bravo mes amies!

 Congratulations to all those involved in morning announcements last week.  The Binedell family did a great job as our guest announcers on Friday.  If any of you would like to be a Friday guest announcer with your family please let me know and we will make it happen.  In Math this week we will be having a quiz on double digit addition and mental Math strategies.  In French we will be learning some new Christmas songs.  In English language arts we will be completing our shoe stories and sending off our letters to Gordon Korman.  We will also begin a reader's theatre this week.  Caleb and Katelyn will be doing Friday Showcase on Friday and our monthly draw will also be held on Friday.  We are in for another great week team!
