We are off to a great start in Kindergarten!! We have been having a lot of fun getting to know each other and making new friends. The boys and girls in KM are awesome!!! I will post some pictures of our first few days when all the Permission to Photograph forms have been returned.
We will be busy this week learning rules and routines for school just like David in the book "David Goes to School". Ask your child to tell you something that they can do at school. In Kindergarten we will be kind to each other, keep our hands to ourselves, wait our turn and raise our hands. Most of all we will have fun!
This week, we will be working on our names. I have a lot of fun activities for us to try. We are also going to start working on our letters with the Zoophonics program. This week, we will be talking about the letter Aa. Have your child show you the signal that allie alligator makes and see if they can tell you the two sounds hardworking /a/ makes. Practice printing the letter Aa at home.
Meet the Teacher cake night will take place on Thursday at 6:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
If you haven't already paid the $50 school supply fee, please do so. The supplies have already been purchased. Thank you!
Please make sure you send a complete change of clothes for your child in a labelled bag.
I am enjoying getting to know all the boys and girls in KM and am looking forward to a fabulous year!

Friday is a half day. The busses will be leaving at 11:15.
Parents, thank you for all your support this year. I enjoyed working with your children and I hope they had an enjoyable year in Kindergarten!

We are going to have pizza for lunch on Friday! We will be eating in our classroom so if your child doesn't like pizza, please send a lunch that doesn't have to be heated. I know many of you have been asking Mr. Comeau to join us. Guess what? He has agreed to join us, yeah!!!

If you have any guided reading bags or books at home, please bring them back this week. This will be the final week that I'm sending books home.
This is the last week for Library. All books need to be returned by Thursday. We won't be signing anymore out as Kindergarteners!
Our field trip is on Tuesday. We will be leaving the school at 9:15. Please have a good breakfast before school (we won't have a recess), bring a lunch that doesn't have to heated and dress for the weather. Hopefully the sun will shine!
