We planted the tulips on the frontway of Gretna Green Elementary. We planted them on Wednesday at 1:00 and some daffodils too. When some people were done, the grade 3's came out and checked their plants in their squares. We planted the daffodils around the pole of the Canadian flag.                                     Sincerely,                                     Miss MacTavish and Miss Hutchison Levy                                                                       (Drew and Mia)

Drew and Cameron were recognized at today's Student Showcase Assembly for using descriptive words and detail in their writing. Keep up the great work!   Cameron's Story:   When I was three I got some chocolate but I lost it. It was surprisingly good.  It was delicious creamy milk chocolate with yummy carmel goodness.  MMMMMMM.... YUMMY! I want that chocolate again.   Drew's Lost Ad: If you see a big golden retriever please call 555-8888.  He's 3 years old. He's fluffy and he has saggy ears.  He drools a lot.  He will knock you over and lay on your stomach and lick you on the face.  He can run faster than a race car! If you find him be careful, he can pull you over. Cause once I had him on his leash and he dragged me all around the house 3 to 5 times.  It really hurt me when he went on the rocks.  He has a long, long tongue.  When he jumps on me he's over my head. He could touch a grownup's hand up high when he jumps. Please find him, he's another LOST dog!
