I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving long weekend and feels rejuvinated for the week ahead.

Weekly Update:

  • Our annual fundraiser is on-going. Please send tickets/money to school by Monday, October 19th. If you have unsold tickets that you know will not be sold, please return them to school to be re-distibuted to other students to sell.
  • On Tuesday, I am sending home log-in information for our new online reading program, Kids A-Z. This is currently being used during school hours, however, you are welcome to use it at home as well for daily reading homework. The class has explored and is familiar with it. There are many "just right" books students can read at their individual level. It is a great program!
  • On Wednesday, I am sending home log-in information for our new online math program, Dreambox. This is currently being used during school hours, however, you are welcome to use it at home as well. To help set up Dreambox, use this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CjxdqMN_5mFP82_st-JZxM0GgA8rk7LJ/view.
  • On Friday, I am sending home a package with instructions for home learning so you are prepared if it occurs. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that it is not needed.

Homework Due Friday:

  • read-to-self for 20 minutes daily (Kids A-Z is an option)
  • practice weekly No Excuse Words (her, over, every, very, here, you, your, you’re, for, four)
  • complete reading comprehension sheet
  • complete math sheet

Homework completed before Friday can be submitted early.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at haley.tozer@nbed.nb.ca with any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful week, everyone! :)

Hi Gators,

Have a great week! You have a new Bingo card with lots of summer activities. Also try the Bring Sally Up squat challenge to feel the burn.

Take care,

Mrs. Tozer

Hi everyone,

This week provides lots of opportunites for group activities now that we are able to have a "friends and family" bubble.

Have a great week!

Take care,

- Mrs. Tozer

Hi all,

I hope you had a great long weekend.

This week we are doing an ab challenge. Prepare to feel the burn!

Have an awesome week. :)

Hi Gators! This week is the Gretna Green Virtual Scavenger Hunt. To learn more, follow the link in this PE document or go to the homepage of the Gretna Green website. Do your best to complete all of the tasks. Aside from the scavenger hunt, your PE activities this week all take place outside. After this weekend's snowstorm, let's take advantage of this week's higher temperatures. Take care, everyone!

Hi Gators,

I hope you all had a great week and are taking advantage of the nice weather. There are lots of ways to be active outside, from going for a walk/jog, biking, grabbing a ball, or even raking leaves. (Mr. Tozer and I raked up 40 bags worth!) If being physically active inside is more up your alley, there is a fun workout and multiples games included in this week's post that can be played inside or out.

Have a great week, everyone! And for the Star Wars fans, may the fourth be with you. ;)

Get moving in the month of May! If you are looking for a broad range of daily wellness activities for the whole family, this calendar is for you. Check out the activities and if you see any that you like, give them a try. Have fun, Gators!
