This is the first full week of November and we are 10 weeks in to Grade 4! Congratulations again Superstars on winning the Class of the Month for October. I am proud of you!* Drama continues this week.* This is the last week for Mad Science.* We will have a school Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday morning. Language Arts - Mr. Duplessie will be visiting on Monday and Tuesday. He will be teaching us how to make Book Trailers with IMovie!! It is going to be fun!Math - We will finish our Unit on Numbers to 1000 this week and we will have the test next week!Science - We will be presenting our Habitats projects this week! Let's have another Superstar week!

Aliya is our Star Student of the Week. Aliya was born on December 20, 2004. She is 9 years old. Aliya's favorite part of school is gym! She loves to eat candy and her favorite color is yellow. Aliya likes dogs and she likes everything about herself!

Halloween Week at Gretna Green and in GG4SS! We have fun events ahead of us this week!There will be a Candy Guess outside the cafeteria all week. .25 a guess.* Monday is Pumpkin Decorating Day and Buddy Writing Day Picture Re-takes also will be on Monday* Tuesday - Scarey Hair Day and we have to say good bye to Mawj as she is moving to Moncton. * Wednesday - Black and Orange Day and Halloween Gym Class -Halloween Meal in cafeteria and FREE popcorn! * Thursday - Happy Halloween!!!! Costume parade and Wrap the Teacher (Please wait until lunch to put your costume on) *Friday - Winner of the Candy Guess Mad Science and Drama continue this week! Language Arts - We will continue to work on the Writing Trait of Organization and we will be looking at vowel blends.Math - We will be subtracting with 3 and 4 digit number.Science - We will be finishing our projects on Habitat. Let's have another Superstar week!!

Austyn is our Star Student of the week! He is 9 years old and he celebrates his birthday on July 14. Austyn loves apples and his favorite color is blue. Austyn's favorite animals are cats and dogs. He loves the fact that he is good at drawing!

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Thanksgiving weather. * Congratulations to our Superstar Soccer stars on their District Championship win on Thursday! Way to go!!!* Mad Science and Drama will continue this week. *Interim Report cards will go home on Friday. Language Arts - We will be working with the Writing Trait of Organization and we will continue to work with paragraphs.Math - We will be adding with three and four digit numbers.Science - You will be given a partner to complete your project on Habitats. We have a 3 day week ahead of us! Teachers have meetings on Thursday and Friday and you have NO SCHOOL! Thanksgiving is also this weekend.We are going to have our Pizza Party on Monday at lunch!* The last Cross Country meet is this on Wednesday in Blackville.* Soccer continues this week. The jamboree is Thursday. * Mad Science continues this week. * Drama continues this week. Language Arts - We will continue to work on paragraphs and we will be moving on to the Writing Trait of Organization.Math - We will be starting a lesson on Adding 3 Digit NumbersScience - We will be starting our Habitat project.
