Only 3 weeks left in Grade 3!!!!  Wow ,I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.   * Remember to bring your field trip permission slip back.   * Drama is finished for this year.  Congratulations to Tyra, Bethany and Landon.  You did a fablous job performing in Sleeping Beauty!    * This week there will be a school Speak-Out on Wednesday morning.  Good luck to Tyra and Karsen.  I am so proud of you for being part of this club!  You ROCK!!!                        Language Arts - We will be finishing our writing assignment from last week and trying hard to finish up the chapter books that you are reading before the year is over. Math - We are going to finish our unit on Multiplication and Division.  We will have a year end skills ckeck and we will be starting a fun Math project!! Science - We will continue with our Unit on Material and Structures.   Let's have another SUPERSTAR week!!

  Only 4 more weeks of school left! This is also our last week for HOMEWORK this year!!       * Baby Elena will be visiting on Thursday morning at 10:30.  I can't wait to see how much she has grown now.    * Drama continues this week.    * Monday afternoon we will be building Tall Ships out of recycled material.  If you have recycled material we can use please bring it on Monday.   Language Arts - We will finish working on our Friendly Letters. Math - We will learn how Multiplication and Division relate to each other. Social Studies - We will be finishing our Stop Motion projects Science - We will be starting a unit on Material and Structures.

     Happy Mother's Day to all your Mom's.  I hope you treated them well today!   * Drama continues this week.   * Mad Science Continues this week.   * Kim will be visiting on Thursday afternoon for Roots of Empathy.   Language Arts - This week we are going to examine the proper use of Apostrophes and we will continue to use Story Bird to create unique stories. Math  - We are going to finish working with multipication and beginning working with division. Social Studies - We are going to start our New Brunswick Tourism Stop Motion projects.   Let's have another Superstar week!

Our student teacher, Ms. Ullock, is finished her Internship today.  We will miss her and we look forward to her coming back to be our Supply Teacher!

  We have a full and exciting week ahead of us!!!   Monday is Earth Day!   Wednesday is the Grade 5 Yard Sale!   Thursday - Mad Science continues   Friday is Career Day!  You can come to school dressed up as what you would like to be when you grow up! That one is easy for me...I will come dressed as a teacher.  Your parents are welcome to come in for a visit sometime this week to tell us about their jobs.  We can make time whenever it is convient for them!   Hello and Goodbye - We will say goodbye to Ms. Ullock this week.  Her internship is finished on Friday.  We will also say hello to a new student-teacher.  Ms. MacKnight will be joining grade 3S on Monday!   Language Arts - We will be working with the Writing Trait of Conventions this week! Math - I have VERY exciting Math news for you on Monday morning! Science - We are going to continue working on our Magnet projects this week! Let's have another Superstar week!
